Really just my info.
No dietary restrictions, but I'm somewhat limited by the tastes of my partner (meat and cheese).
I buy $10 cheese at the grocery store and eat it for dessert.
I only cook meals for which I need to buy 3 or less ingredients.
The above may be ignored if I've got cravings.
The above is made possible by keeping a stock of cooking & baking essentials (sugars, flour, baking soda, chicken bouillon, minced garlic, etc.) and alcohol (bourbon, tequila, you get it).
I've never been able to thicken a sauce when the recipe says "simmer and stir until thick," and I've never been able to fix it with cornstarch.
I once put a glass measuring cup on the stove and exploded it.
